Molo Dark

It takes a village, they say. The Molo Dark Roast is named after the iconic Café Molo in Wakefield, for whom the blend was created. When we brought them the first batch, it sold out in a half day, and we still get texts asking us to bring some ASAP because they’ve run out (and we’re happy to oblige).

The flavours and nuances that make each origin so special can sometimes be lost in a dark roast, and we take care to make sure that doesn’t happen. Roasted just dark enough to tame the acidity and round out the body, the Molo is nutty and rich but clean, with a caramel sweetness balancing out ripe red berry notes.

Molo is a French Canadian word meaning chilled out, and that’s kind of how this dark roast is: smooth and easy.
